We can be jealous for just one reason. We don't have what the other person has. It might be a fit body, more money, good grades or an overall lifestyle that your friend or a relative has and not you. But do you know what? Number one, they have that for a reason. No one is born with all of these. It is earned either by them or their family members. But it came through dedication and persistence. So, they deserve it. And number two is that even though they might not deserve it, why do we even want to look at someone's success in a negative light? Won't that degrade our thinking and kill our brain cells? Instead, we use this energy to better our mind, health and lifestyle.
Now that we are at home, we know work doesn't necessarily have to be at office. There are a lot of chores at home too. And then we have a lot of us who are working from home right now. This does get stressful at times. Especially now when we are not only stressed about our work, but about the global pandemic too. Why not take a back seat for some time and de-stress yourself?
The pandemic has opened our eyes. It is as if our eyes were blurred initially by different layers of activities that we felt gave us happiness. But the truth is that the way simple joys can bring us a level of satisfaction, nothing else can. This is the time to protect yourself. Your mind, body, vibe and soul. You need healing. Most of us are with families right now. But we still have many who are stuck away in different countries. So here I am, with five peaceful things to do when alone. It's easy, simple and doable.
