Unique Selling Proposition is something that differentiates you or your personal brand amongst other competitors. It makes you stand out from the many other people in the market. Every brand wants to leave a mark with their services or products. This is the only thing which will give you an edge. I'll explain this using an example. Take Domino's. They started the trend of fast pizzas. The company said that if you order a pizza from them, you'll get it in 30 minutes. And if not so, you'll get it for free! No one was using this strategy that time. This made news and helped them garner a lot of customers.
If someone asks me what is the most difficult yet powerful thing to do, I'd say it is training my mind. I'm sure you might agree with me. Deciding to do something is a different thing but actually doing something is tough. But it is difficult only if our mind thinks so. If you have the will, you'll eventually find out the way. And to go through this way, you'll need to train your mind.
General knowledge is the information accumulated over time and years through different mediums like reading books and newspapers, watching television or listening attentively. It is not a detailed learning like a college degree but it will for sure give you more confidence and make you more aware of the world around you.
I still remember sitting at the Toronto Airport. I had just come back from India after a short break with my family and was waiting for my bus to London, Ontario. It was around 7:30 pm on January 1, 2020. I was making plans for the new year. I was thinking about getting in shape, posting more articles on this blog and completing my HR course successfully. But little did I know that in just about two months the world will stop. And that we all will be in a quarantine period. An extremely tiny thing like a coronavirus will take over our mental peace. But now when I sit and write this article, I feel there are so many lessons I've learnt from this phase.
